Air Quality Scientist/Engineer

Job Description: This is a full-time position. You will have the opportunity to complete diverse air quality environmental consulting work within such industries located in the Western US and nationally as power generation, petroleum refining, landfills, data centers, mining, and heavy manufacturing. The primary technical focus for this position will be air permitting, emissions inventories, regulatory compliance evaluations, control technology evaluations, and air quality impact studies, including air dispersion modeling studies and health risk assessments. You will complete greenhouse gas inventories and emissions reduction assessments.
Qualifications: This is an entry-level position. A minimum B.S. degree in a scientific or engineering discipline is required. A graduate degree is preferred. The candidate should be an analytical and critical thinker, have excellent technical capability and writing skills, the ability to learn quickly under tight project constraints, excel at solving problems, and thrive on working in a constantly changing, dynamic environment.

Project Manager, Air Quality Services

Job Description:
BlueScape is seeking an accomplished air quality professional for a position as a Project Manager of Air Quality Services. In this position you will take a leadership role in BlueScape’s continued expansion in the Southern California region, and beyond. Your primary responsibilities will be to manage and complete challenging technical projects for existing and new clients, business development relationships assist with proposals, supervise staff, and work to keep projects on-time and budget. In addition to serving clients by leading consulting projects. Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience: A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline is required. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of environmental consulting experience in air quality services. The candidate must have demonstrated Project Management with industries including power generation, chemical manufacturing, refining, oil & gas, and general manufacturing. Air quality project experience, including permitting, emissions calculation and health impact modeling experience, and experience managing or completing projects for submittals to California air districts, are essential for this position. You should have experience with such modeling tools as AERMOD, HARP2, and CalEEMod, for facility-related projects and CEQA/NEPA projects. As evidenced by past work experience, you should have a strong client service track record, including solving environmental compliance problems, managing client expectations and resolving problems, supervising staff, and managing project budgets. The following certifications are desired, but not required: PE, CPP, PMP.
